Generations: The Legacy Latest Episode Review & Teaser for 8 June 2018

Tshidi played mind games with Kumkani while Jack was shocked by Nandi’s divorce order

Yesterday’s episode of Generations: The Legacy saw Jack taken aback by a summons and the Diales scramble to save their family name.

Here is a rundown of all that happened:

Lucy reprimanded Lesedi for wasting airtime and not spending enough time doing homework.

Tshidi begged Lucy for help to bring Kumkani’s blackmail scheme to an end. Lucy refused to get involved in such messy business.

Jack was served with a summons. He was shocked to discover that Nandi had filed for divorce. He tried to talk her out of it, but failing he planned a way to make her stay with him.

The Moroka alliance convinced Bafana to speak to Lesego about the protests in Rustenberg.

Getty held a meeting with community elders to devise a way to clear her name. None offered to help her.

Lesedi sweet-talked Cosmo into giving her money for airtime.

Getty announced to the Diales that she would hold a meeting at the shebeen to quell rumours about her being a witch. Unfortunately, the Alex residents were less and convinced by her and Lucy’s claims and continued to debate whether she is a witch.

Sphe ensured Jack that she does not stand behind Nandi’s decision. Joe Jackson then walked in to tell Jack about the chaos in Rustenberg.

Technical analysis

This episode should provide good anticipation for the week’s close. By introducing a crisis right at the end, the writers give audiences something to hold on to while waiting for the coming episode.

The Tshidi/ Kumkani narrative has been playing for a while and should hopefully conclude shortly.
