Generations: The Legacy Latest Episode Review & Teaser for 28 May 2018

Fans of Generations: The Legacy, here is a look at Friday’s episode and a teaser of what is to come.

Generations: The Legacy is one of South Africa’s most popular soap dramas. While the show has been revamped in recent years, the essence of the show has remained the same. Daily doses of conspiratorial drama are still regularly delivered by the cast and creators.

Here is an overview of what happened in Friday’s episode:

Lucy was relieved after taking a pregnancy test which showed negative. She confessed that she is in no hurry to have another child.

Matshidiso returned to Kumkani’s despite warnings.

Mazwi was blindsided by Jack into entering into a business deal with a notorious strip club owner, Joe ‘legs’ Jackson.

Skhalo vowed that he would get his vengeance against Lucy for the death of his father.

After being threatened by Jack, Michael called a press conference to confess his less than above board business dealings. Jack was infuriated by being outed on the news.

Lesedi and Brandon headed out to the school dance. Jason taunted them, but the whole grade gathered in their defence and they spent the evening dancing together.

Technical analysis

This episode stuck to the Generations brand style by including plot twists and imposing threats. While the acting style of the cast can be overdrawn at times, lighter hearted moments ease the tension of the dramatic scenes.
