Jack was willing to risk it all to keep his control over the development while Tshidi figured out how to murder Kumkani
Last night’s episode of Generations: The Legacy saw Jack target the alliance to regain control of the Rustenberg development.
Here is an overview of all that happened:
Nandi and Mandla grew closer as they went on another date and shared their first kiss.
Gogo berated Lesedi for her drastic change of behaviour. Lucy also scolded her for using up all her airtime.
Tshidi planned her wedding to Kumkani. She made sure to organise for the wedding to take place as soon as possible. She also convinced him not to order a prenuptial agreement.
The alliance planned their course of action to ensure that Jack would hand over the development to them. Sphe then went to see Jack on her own.
Sphe ordered Jack to proceed timeously with handing over the development.
Cosmo landed in China. Kumkani reminded him how important it is for his meeting to go well.
Jack devised a way to crack the alliance. He planned to go after Sphe who according to him is the weakest member of the group.
Tshidi had a revelation about how to kill Kumkani. She planned to poison him so that his death would seem to have been of natural causes.
Jack lured Sphe to his office. There he pulled a gun on her.

Technical analysis
Jack pulling a gun on his daughter may be a push too far for some viewers as many are becoming frustrated with his never-ending winning streak.
While it is understandable that as the story’s villain he should be somewhat invincible, perhaps the writers should heed to viewers demands to see him suffer retribution for his evil deeds.
