Jack was blindsided by the alliance while Kumkani agreed to marry Tshidi
Yesterday’s episode of Generations: The Legacy saw the alliance finally work up the bravado to blackmail Jack.
Here is an overview of all that happened:
Kumkani was taken aback by Tshidi’s proposal. He asked for time to think about re-marrying her. However, the following morning he agreed.
Bafana confronted Mazwi and Sphe for having hacked his computer. He opted out of the plan to blackmail Jack as he could not reconcile the moral implications with his own conscience.
Jack visited Nandi to insist that she stop seeing Mandla. Sphe quickly jumped to her mother’s defence which surprised Jack.
Cosmo planned for his trip to meet Mr Wang. Kumkani made it clear that the meeting must go well.
Kumkani made plans to kill Tshidi as he got hold of a gun involved in multiple serious crimes. Due to her marriage proposal he adjusted his original tactic but vowed to stay true to his plan.
Lesedi’s obsession with her cell phone got in the way of her relationship with Gogo.
Jack threatened Mandla to steer clear of Nandi. Later, Nandi caught Jack flirting with Tshidi and accused him of being a hypocrite.
Lucy became frustrated with being a baby-making machine.
The alliance approached Jack with the evidence of Lesego’s death. They gave him twenty-four hours to hand over the development to them.

Technical analysis
Ending the episode with the alliance giving Jack an ultimatum was a good way to build suspense.
Viewers are most often divided on the character of Jack, with some rooting for him to pull off his evil schemes while others hope with baited breath for his downfall.
Many will thus likely be expectant of how this story arch will play out.
