The alliance had a falling out over vital evidence and Getty followed her calling to the Eastern Cape
Last night’s episode of Generations: The Legacy saw the truth uncovered as Skhalo admitted to spreading the rumours about Getty being a witch.
Here is a brief rundown of how the episode played out:
The ancestors visited Getty in her dreams and revealed all the truths she had been searching for.
The alliance watched in shock as Jack organised for Lesego’s body to be discarded. They then disagreed over how they should proceed with the information they acquired from the hidden video footage. Bafana insisted on going to the police, but the rest were more eager to use the evidence as a tool to blackmail Jack into handing over control of the Rustenberg development to them.
Jack and his crony agreed to make Lesego’s death look like a suicide.
Lesedi and Lucy found themselves at loggerheads yet again over Lesedi’s cell phone usage. Lucy threatened to confiscate the phone. Lesedi then struggled to stay awake at school after a long night of texting.
Lucy’s thugs brought Skhalo in for questioning. Lucy threatened to cut off his ear if he did not confess to spreading the rumours about Getty. Skhalo was saved by Getty’s grace although she warned that he would die a painful death.
Lucy coerced Skhalo into telling the truth to Tboz. Tboz then promised Getty that he would make up for his misdeeds. She promised him that his deceased brother was at peace.
Getty then told the Diales that her calling would be sending her to the Eastern Cape. Gogo was distraught but Getty comforted her.
Mazwi organised a hacker to retrieve the video footage off Bafana’s laptop to prevent him from going to the police.
Tshidi proposed to Kumkani.

Technical analysis
Seeing that Mazwi and Sphe have turned on Bafana to achieve their own gains, it seems likely that the alliance is at an end. It should be interesting to see how the writers resolve this family conflict.
