Kumkani sought to kill his feelings for Tshidi while the Diales faced up against the wrath of angry Alex residents
Last Friday’s episode of Generations: The Legacy saw the Diales under threat from an embittered Alexandra community.
Here is an overview of all that happened:
Kumkani made the decision to get rid of Tshidi once and for all as a means to quell his growing feelings for her. He ordered her killed.
The Moroka’s watched the violence in Rustenberg unfold. They were shocked to hear of the multiple fatalities caused by Jack’s carelessness.
Jack and Tshidi released a press statement blaming Lesego for the unrest. Bafana convinced Lesego to join the alliance in bringing Jack’s empire down.
Skhalo continued to stir trouble in Alex about Getty being a witch. He manipulated Tboz into ransacking Getty’s hut for evidence of muti. Tboz naturally found the human tongue planted by TT and proceeded to rile up the community against the Diales.
Lesedi helped Cosmo learn a few Mandarin words and phrases. In return, he washed the dishes after dinner while she chatted to Brandon. However, Lucy still caught Lesedi out and threatened to take away her cell phone.
Mandla asked Nandi out for drinks to which she agreed.
A mob of angry residents protested outside the Diales home. Tboz snuck off to set Getty’s hut alight with her inside of it.

Technical analysis
The episode was well setup to round off the week. By mirroring the Rustenberg unrest with the Alex protests against Getty, the writers crafted a tense episode in which the world seems to have come undone.
It should be interesting to see how these conflicts will be resolved in coming episodes.
