The FF Plus has expressed worry and concern at the momentum being gained by the state-driven project for transformation in education, as school governing bodies and universities participate.
The Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) issued a statement on Tuesday, 19 October 2021, on the matter of transformation in education, stating that the flood wave of hostile transformation could only be stopped by coordinated action. The party noted that the state-driven project for transformation at all levels of education is gaining momentum, however, expressing worry that governing bodies of schools and universities are actively participating in it.
It also took note of the department being in the final stages of introducing a “new inclusive and decolonised” curriculum for history in schools, calling this a new attempt at naked propaganda. The FF Plus believes that one of the reasons for the departments and educational institutions to act as what it has described as one-sidedly, is because they are of the perception that Afrikaners and Afrikaans speakers support the action.
