Emtee is one of the many parents who are worried about their children’s health upon returning to school amid the pandemic, and took to Twitter to express his concern.
Emtee took to Twitter on Thursday, 25 June 2020, to tweet about his son’s return to school. The father of two revealed that his eldest son, Avery, is back at school. In his tweet, the Waves rapper expressed concern at his son being back at school with the current pandemic still gripping many people around the world, including South Africans.
The post drew a lot of different views from Twitter users, although it is unclear whether all the comments were from parents. The comments section was filled with polarising views from Twitter users, who all weighed in on the matter.
Some people advised Emtee not to send his son to school because of the associated risks and possibility of contracting COVID-19. Others stated that all he could do was hope and believe that his son would be protected and safe.
