Edwin Sodi implicates sitting ministers on the stand
Edwin Sodi recently appeared before the Zondo State Capture Commission and implicated several sitting minsters, including Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize.
The Zondo State Capture Commission had the Director of BlackHead Consulting, Edwin Sodi, take the stand on Tuesday, 29 September 2020. Sodi was set to give his testimony on his involvement in the asbestos Free State housing scandal. Initially, there was interest on the return of Mosebenzi Zwane to the stand, but after Sodi’s testimony, the Commission adjourned for the day.
Sodi’s testimony implicated several sitting ministers, whom he claims to have paid or “donated” many to. Some of the members of Parliament and political figures that he implicated were Deputy Minister of State Security, Zizi Kodwa, Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, and the biggest “donation” he mentioned was some R6.5 million to Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize.
