Duduzane Zuma strongly believes that the NPA is abusing state organs to fight political battles by trying to resurrect a case that he has been acquitted of.
Duduzane Zuma is still not convinced that the state has a case against him. On Monday, 7 June 2021, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) head, Shamila Batohi demanded to find out why and how Duduzane was never criminally charged by the state for his car crash in 2014.
Batohi believes that Duduzane should have been criminally charged with culpable homicide and negligent driving for crashing his Porsche into a taxi back in 2014, which resulted in the death of a woman. Duduzane has stated that he views the matter as a political vendetta against him, further claiming that the NPA is now resurrecting an old case in an attempt to get him prosecuted.
On Monday, Duduzane took to Twitter and stated, “After digging and failing to find any corruption case against me, they try to resurrect a case I was acquitted of. This is a total abuse of state organs to fight political battles… I am not afraid.”

This is total abuse of state organs to fight political battles. I will continue to serve poor communities. I’m not afraid.
