DRC: Désiré Cashmir Kolongele appointed director of cabinet

The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Tshisekedi, has appointed Professor Désiré Cashmir Kolongele Eberande, his acting director of cabinet.

On his Twitter account, FATSHINEWS, the communication platform of President Félix Tshisekedi, specifies that Professor Eberande was appointed, yesterday Tuesday, 12 May 2020.

He replaces Vital Kamerhe, prosecuted for the embezzlement of 50 million US dollars intended for the so-called 100 days program of the President of the Republic.

The Kamerhe trial, opened last Monday before the Gombe Tribunal de Grande Instance in Kinshasa and was postponed to May 25.
