The Transport Ministry has announced a venue change for the upcoming press briefing on the Level 1 regulations and directives of the department.
The Department of Transport, on Wednesday, 30 September 2020, announced a venue change for the scheduled briefing on the department’s Level 1 regulations and directives. Minister Fikile Mbalula’s briefing was initially scheduled to take place at 253 Howick Cl, Vorna Valley in Midrand.
However, without an explanation for the venue change, the new venue has been confirmed as Ronnie Mamoepa Media Centre, GCIS Head Office, Tshedimosetso House in Pretoria. Despite the change of venue, the rest of the proceedings are scheduled to continue as previously announced. The briefing will start at 15:00, and the minister’s address is expected to provide further clarity on international travel and the logistics thereof.
