Democratic Republic of Congo announces 65-strong cabinet under Tshisekedi’s administration

The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Sylvestre Ilunga, has announced the 65-member cabinet, set up seven months after the swearing-in of Felix Tshisekedi as president.

This team, announced on Monday, 26 August 2019, is made up of 42 ministers from the ‘Fron Commun du Changement’ (FCC, pro-Kabila) and 23 ministers from the coalition called ‘Cap pour le Changement’ (CAP) of President Tshisekedi.

Below is the list of cabinet members, of which 17 percent are women.
