The DBE took to Twitter to circulate a statement on the revision of tariffs for certification and examination fees relating to NSC services.
The Department of Basic Education (DBE) took to Twitter on Tuesday, 6 April 2021, to detail the revised tariffs for the 2021/2022, 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 financial years. The post by the DBE comes as various departmental branches have also reported tariff changes.
According to the statement issued, “National Treasury’s approval (in terms of section 7.3.1 of the National Treasury Regulations with section 76(2)f of the PFMA) is hereby granted, for the department to revise the tariffs for the period of 2021/2022 – 2023/2024 for certification and examination fees relating to the National Senior Certificate for services rendered by the department.”
The statement further affirmed that the tariff changes for the 2021/2022 financial year have already taken effect.
