Compensation Fund announces upcoming system shutdowns

The Compensation Fund has announced the imminent temporary shutdown of two of its platforms, citing the financial year end update as the reason for the disruption.

The Department of Employment and Labour took to Twitter on Wednesday, 10 March 2021, to circulate a statement announcing the upcoming temporary shutdown of two of the Compensation Fund’s online systems. The statement confirmed that the ROE Online and SAP System are set to be temporarily unavailable, due to the financial year end update.

The shutdowns have been scheduled from Monday, 15 March 2021, to Thursday, 1 April 2021. Various online public systems have recently been undergoing maintenance and updates, which has resulted in the temporary shutdown thereof. However, the two-week halt of the online services has not been earmarked by other departments.

Moreover, the statement further apologised for the inconvenience. Those who need to utilise the platform are being encouraged to do so before the scheduled shutdowns.
