CNBLUE’s Jung Yong-hwa is set to release ‘Letter’, a new Japanese song in May, according to the artist’s management agency, FNC Entertainment.
On Tuesday, 27 March, FNC Entertainment announced that the main vocalist of the pop rock band CNBLUE, Jung Yong-hwa (Hangeul: 정용화) is set to release a new Japanese Song on 21 May.
The K-pop idol is currently serving in the army, and the song is a gift for fans he has been working on before joining the military, said an agency official.
The artist is planning to release five Japanese songs: ‘Brothers,’ ‘Melody,’ ‘Jellyfish’ and ‘The Moment’, ‘Letter’ being the first part of his ‘Feel the Five Y’ project. All singles will be released during his time in the Army.
The artist is due to be discharged on 4 December 2019.
