City Power has provided a progress update on the restoration of power at the New Road Bekker Street feeder, which saw a total loss of supply to surrounding areas.
In a Twitter post on Monday, 6 January 2020, City Power had notified residents of a power interruption at the New Road Bekker Street feeder, which resulted in the total loss of power in Halfway Gardens, Vorna Valley, Vorna Valley extension 21 and Vorna Valley extension 56. City Power has reported that 87 percent of power has been restored at the distributor, which has resulted in partial power supply to the affected areas.
