Cassper Nyovest talks marketing strategies with Mo Flava

Hip-hop artist Cassper Nyovest revealed one of his most effective marketing strategies during an interview on Metro FM’s drive-time show with Mo Flava, following the release of his single Move For Me.

Cassper Nyovest did a promotional interview for his latest single Move For Me, featuring vocalist Boskasie, on Friday afternoon, 5 April 2019, on The Drive with Mo Flava. The show takes place on Metro FM every weekday from 15:00 – 18:00.

The interview asked the popular hip-hop artist, record label owner and entrepreneur a range of questions, starting with the release of Move For Me, which is from his latest album Short And Sweet (Deluxe), and moving on to talking about a range of other topics that provided insight into Cassper Nyovest.

The questions ranged from Cassper Nyovest’s realisation of how big a star he is, his experience with Jay Z and Beyoncé during the 2018 Global Citizen concert and how he deals with being lambasted for dropping out of high school. His most insightful moment was when he explained his risky but effective marketing strategy.

This was shared as a video clip on the station’s Twitter page and currently has over eleven thousand views. Cassper admitted that sometimes an error in grammar and/ or spelling is intentional rather than due to a lack of understanding or comprehension. He admitted that when he does make this kind of error, the product he is advertising usually has more of a reach and is more likely to trend than if the message for his product was error free.

Although he also highlighted that the con to this is the constant reminder that he dropped out of high school, he could not deny the effectiveness of the strategy.
