Cape Town International Jazz Festival kicks off today

The annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) will take place this Friday and Saturday, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

On Friday, 23 March, kicks off the annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF), famous for its star-studded line up of local and international artists, such as Amanda Black, Mulatu Astatke, Alistair Izobell, Sisonke Xonti, The Louiz Banks Quartet, Feya Faku Spirit Unit and many others.

According to the organisers, the CTIJF is the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa.

The event is hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) each year, on the last weekend of March or the first weekend of April.

This year, the two-day show will take place on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 March 2018.

You will be able to purchase various clothing, t-shirts, caps, posters, as well as CD’s, arts and crafts at the venue.

The CTIJF is also friendly to disabled visitors.

  • Day Pass – R750
  • Rosies Tickets – NOW AVAILABLE at Computicket (However do note that tickets for Rosies Stage cost an additional R30 per performance and require a CTIJF 2018 Festival Pass).
