BTS to sing the soundtrack of a Japanese drama

K-pop boy band BTS (Hangeul: 방탄소년단, also known as Bangtan Boys) is set to sing the theme song of a Japanese drama.

According to TV Report, the band will sing the soundtrack titled ‘Don’t Leave Me’ for the Japanese remake of tvN’s hit drama ‘Signal’.

BTS member RM (formerly known as Rap Monster) said that this is the first time the band is singing a drama theme song, adding that the band is “honored to sing the song for a drama that was a big success in Korea.”

Jungkook (정국), another member of the band, said that it would be great if viewers could concentrate more on the drama “while listening to our song.”

J-Hope added that he wishes “everyone who watches the drama to enjoy this song.”

Actor and model Kentaro Sakaguchi, the main character of the upcoming drama said the song is “fine and profound.”

‘Don’t Leave Me’ will also be included in BTS’s third Japanese studio album ‘Face Yourself.’
