Bonang Matheba jealous of consumers who managed to purchase yeast during the lockdown

Media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba, took to social media to light-heartedly lambast people who managed to purchase yeast before it sold out in most stores, as she wanted to make amagwinya (vetkoeks).

On Wednesday, 8 April 2020, Bonang Matheba took to social media to lament over her inability to purchase yeast during her latest shopping experience. The Being Bonang reality star revealed that she cannot make the popular township delicacy of amagwinya (vetkoeks) because of not having all the required ingredients. However, in a following post, in response to a Twitter user who exclaimed that she could not purchase flour, Bonang also revealed that she wasn’t able to purchase samp either.

However, Bonang continued to showcase her humorous side after some of her Twitter followers started posting images of themselves using the yeast that was sold out to make their own flour-based meals. Bonang retweeted a few of those posts, and stated that she was jealous of consumers who managed to get their hands on yeast.
