BLF welcomes Jacob Zuma home, noting concerns on RET

Published on

BLF has welcomed Jacob Zuma home and expressed its unwavering solidarity of him, noting how RET had been defeated inside the ANC.

President of the Black First Land First (BLF) movement, Andile Mngxitama issued a statement on Thursday, 14 October 2021, welcoming former president, Jacob Zuma home. BLF expressed that it stands in unwavering support of Zuma, sending its deep, heartfelt welcome to him.

The BLF noted itself to have been the first organisation to have denounced what it has referred to as the unjust persecution, conviction, and imprisonment on what it believes to be bogus charges against Zuma. It also commended the resilience of Zuma in the face of what it has noted to be many attacks against him.

Moreover, it pointed out to the former president that the progressive moves that he, as the “Father of Radical Economic Transformation (RET)”, had made during his tenure as president had been defeated inside of the African National Congress (ANC), calling capture on the Black agenda.
