On Thursday, 8 March, YG Entertainment announced that Big Bang (빅뱅) has a special present for fans – an unreleased track, that will be unveiled next week.
The agency said that since the band is taking a pause due to its members’ military duties, the song “will be happy news to the group’s domestic and international fans who are saddened by the group’s break.” It also added that all five members participated in recording the song.
According to YG Entertainment, the song was written in 2016, when the band was preparing their album ‘MADE’ with the upcoming enlistment in mind, although it did not disclose the title, lyrics or other details regarding the track.
The song will be unveiled on Tuesday, 13 March, on the day Daesung (대성) begins his mandatory military service, and one day after Taeyang (태양)’s enlistment.
