Bell Equipment Limited reports solid performance in latest interim results

Bell Equipment Limited has issued its unaudited interim results for the period ended 30 June 2021, reporting a 25 percent increase in revenue and no dividend declared.

Bell Equipment Limited released its unaudited interim results for the period ended 30 June 2021 on Thursday, 9 September 2021. The group reported a solid performance largely attributed to increased production volumes and a more sustainable level of sales.

Revenue is reported to have increased by 25 percent to R3.8 million, with profit from operating activities said to have increased by R34 471 to R267 230. The profit decrease for the period was R175 754 while the net cash inflow for the period decreased to R264 214.

Earnings per share were reported to be 177 cents, while headline earnings per share were 176 cents. The net asset value per share decreased to R37.79 from R38.04. Bell also reported that it has resolved to not declare a dividend for the period ended 30 June 2021, due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the future of COVID-19.
