On Monday, 20 September 2021, Ascendis Health Limited issued its strategy and operational update and trading statement for the year ended 30 June 2021. The group noted positive momentum in the overall performance, as seen in the normalised earnings EBITDA compound annual growth and in the remaining assets that will comprise the New Ascendis Health.

The group stated that this growth in momentum has contributed to it being able to negotiate the group recapitalisation, while holding on to a set of core assets that have more value than what was previously predicted. In terms of operational performance of medical devices, the group is anticipating revenue to close between R956 million and R1 005 million, which is an increase of 10 to 16 percent.
