The South African Government took to Twitter to announce that applications for The Presidency Internship Programme are now open, and are set to close at the end of January 2021
The South African Government took to Twitter on Thursday, 21 January 2021, to launch the call for applicants for The Presidency Internship Programme. The programme is expected to accommodate approved applicants between 2021 and 2023.
According to the statement, the programme is open to “unemployed South African graduates/post graduates who are younger than 35 years of age, with a tertiary qualification in one of the fields of study mentioned in a specific advert, who have not been previously employed under any internship programme.”
The statement further stipulated, “Applications must be submitted on form Z83 and should be accompanied by certified copies of qualifications, ID as well as a comprehensive CV in order to be considered. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).”
The statement confirmed that approved applicants will receive a stipend based on their qualifications. Moreover, the programme will be based in Pretoria. The deadline for applications is Friday, 29 January 2021.
