Published on

The ANC has enlisted members of the NEC to spearhead various voter registration campaigns, with the likes of Nomvula Mokonyane and Ace Magashule being at the forefront.

The African National Congress (ANC) took to Twitter on Sunday, 4 October 2020, to share that National Executive Committee (NEC) member, Gwede Mantashe spearheaded the party’s campaign to encourage eligible voters in Hlalanikahle, Emalahleni, to register to vote. The party has enlisted some of its NEC members to campaign and meet with various ANC volunteers in different wards, in an attempt to encourage the masses to register to vote.

Besides Mantashe’s visit to Hlalanikahle, other members of the NEC campaigned in other wards. First was troubled politician, Nomvula Mokonyane, who campaigned in Mogale City on Saturday, 3 October 2020. On the same day, the ANC’s Secretary-General, Ace Magashule, who is also currently surrounded by controversy, campaigned in Phomolong.
