AKA’s smash hit, ‘Fela in Versace’ off his Touch My Blood album, is continuing to make waves across local music charts.
On Thursday, 5FM announced that the song had reached the top position on its Top 10 at 10 Hip-Hop charts. Now, thanks to the popularity of the tune, AKA will perform alongside Kiddominant this Friday on SABC 1’s premiere music show, Live AMP.
Live AMP tweeted the announcement of AKA’s performance on Thursday, 30 August 2018. They wrote, “You’ve asked, and we listened! This Friday [31 August 2018] #LiveAMP brings you an exclusive performance from @akaworldwide & @KIDDOMINANT performing the number 1 song in the country #FelaInVersace🔥.” Meanwhile, the rapper cooed over the success of the song, writing, “Thank You 🇿🇦 … Thank You @5FM ❤️ … just minding my business. Doing my thing. Counting my blessings. 🔴”
This week’s episode of Live AMP promises to be a star-studded affair as Boity Thulo will perform her debut single, Wuz Dat live with rapper Nasty C. The show will air live at 19:30 on SABC 1.
