Europa Metals released a statement announcing the appointment of Adam Habib as its Corporate Development Adviser, with no word on when it will take effect.

Europa Metals Limited released a statement on Wednesday, 27 January 2021, to announce the appointment of a new adviser to the board. The company has appointed a senior banker with 17 years of experience in investment banking, Adam Habib. Habib will assume the role of the company’s Corporate Development Advisor.

According to the statement, “During Adam’s time in investment banking, he led both the Capital Markets and Investment Banking teams as part of the management distribution committee in Europe for Credit Suisse Investment Bank. Adam is a specialist in Energy and Mining finance transactions (acquisition finance, development finance and project finance). He has worked on some of the world’s largest engineering & procurement projects and mining transactions in regions such as Russia, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia and the North Sea.”

Although it was not explicitly stated when he will assume the position, Habib was quoted as saying, “I am extremely pleased to be joining the team at Europa Metals. Given the current positive commodity market which is being driven by global government stimulus, it makes sense for Europa Metals to seek to add value for its shareholders by accelerating its business development strategy to take advantage of the economic cycle. I look forward to adding value to Europa Metals and working with Myles and Laurence.”
