Herman Mashaba has shared some of the party’s senate plans to tackle the matter of ballot papers and voters locating ActionSA, in response to the Electoral Court judgement.
Leader of ActionSA, Herman Mashaba issued a statement on Monday, 25 October 2021, confirming that the party’s senate considered and adopted the necessary plans to ensure ActionSA’s campaign responds effectively to the recent ruling by the Electoral Court.
The senate is confirmed to have resolved to awaiting written responses for the judgement before commenting further on the matter or any further legal response. Instead, it is focusing all energy on the election with a deliberate campaign to drive voter awareness on identifying ActionSA on the ballot paper.
This will include the production of digital aids on social media, scaling up branding at all voting station front-of-house operations, and preparing dummy ballot papers for party volunteers to assist voters outside voting stations to find the party on ballot papers. The party also expressed its appreciation for the outpouring of support it received throughout the matter.
