Friday, 23 March, marked the start of the biggest annual motorcycle rally in the Cape – the Swallows Rally 2018 will continue up until Sunday, 25 March.
This year’s Swallows Rally, which is in its 22nd year, will be held at the Bredasdorp Megapark, Western Cape Province.
According to the organisers, each attendee must complete an entry form, to qualify for the Lucky Draw.
Also, this year’s programme includes burnouts, stunts, wheelies, drags and games, but also Concourse de Elegance, loads of prizes and over R400,000 in Prizes.
Tickets bought by 5 March were R220 per person, including a metal badge. The tickets purchased after 5 March include an extra R30.
Organisers have warned that any person entering the campsite for the weekend or part of it will have to pay a full entry fee.
In addition, due to the complaints in the past, no cars and quads will be allowed inside the campsite. However, secure parking will be available for the whole weekend for the price of R100.
Do note that no children under 18 will be allowed to attend the rally.
